My name is Livi Bonaventura, and I am a technical artist and design engineer focused on the intersection of art, technology, and interactive experience.
Originally from Trumbull, Connecticut, I grew up near New York City, where early exposure to large-scale art, performance, and production helped shape my creative direction. That foundation developed into a career centered on building immersive visual experiences across real-time rendering, animation, VFX, robotics visualization, concert visuals, interactive technology, and physical installation work.
My work explores futuristic aesthetics and the connection between digital systems and physical space. I am especially interested in projects that combine real-time graphics, projection mapping, LED systems, lasers, drones, hologram fans, simulation, robotics, and interactive media. I enjoy the full creative and technical pipeline, from early concept development and asset creation to procedural workflows, animation, rendering, compositing, implementation, and final presentation.

I earned my degree in Experimental Animation from the University of Central Florida, where I developed a foundation in animation, visual effects, and digital production. I later continued my education at FIEA, earning a Master’s in Interactive Entertainment with a focus on technical art, game development, real-time simulation, and immersive experience design.
Professionally, I have worked at Lockheed Martin as a Design Engineer, creating technical visuals, animation, simulation support, and real-time content for complex systems. This role has strengthened my ability to translate engineering, robotics, and advanced technology concepts into clear, compelling visual communication.
In addition to my industry work, I have collaborated with UCF FIEA and IST as a subject matter expert, teaching students and faculty about technical art workflows, real-time production, and the creative pipeline. I value opportunities to share practical production knowledge and help bridge the gap between artistic vision and technical execution.
Across all of my work, I am driven by experimentation, problem solving, and the desire to create experiences that feel new, immersive, and memorable. Whether I am working on games, cinematic projects, robotics visualization, concert visuals, or interactive installations, my goal is to create work that blurs the line between imagination, technology, and reality.
